Dubai x Abu Dhabi

31 Jul 2014

Not much to say apart from the obvious - Dubai is amazing.

I initially went there for a week but extended my stay because I was having so much fun. It was great to meet old and new friends whilst I was there. I'm already planning my next trip.

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

Emirates Palace Hotel
I also went to Ferrari World, it was okay - its another activity to cross off the list if you do go to Abu Dhabi. I'd definitely recommend going to Yas Water World as its not far from Ferrari World. I wasn't able to go, due to time restraints, but I will definitely try to go again because I went to Wild Wadi on Jumeirah Beach Road and that was insaneeeee. Really enjoyed myself there!

Jumeirah Beach Walk
Just a small list of things I did - (too many to list)
  • Burj Khalifa
  • Dubai Aquarium
  • Wild Wadi water park
  • Dubai Mall
  • Gold Souk
  • Sundowner tour with Arabian Adventures

We stayed at the Address hotel and as we extended our holiday extremely last minute, we then moved to Al Manzil. Both hotels are nice - but the Address is just *sighs* (that's a good sigh by the way). One thing to note - if you do decide to stay at the Address make sure to leave your room a bit earlier. The hotel is situated next to the mall so the queues for the taxi rank can be quite long.

The nightlife is different - not as relaxed as London. The music did remind me of my uni days with the amount of hip hop played. Mahiki had really good music but it was a real pain for all of my friends to get in so didn't stay there for long.

I have many more pictures and wonderful memories - it really was one of the best holidays I've been on. Feel free to drop me any questions. x
